Hey all. First post! Just ran out of resources. Usually I can fix minor problems with my computers but I bought a Mac recently, so not sure if thats the problem.

Anyways I just got a Netgear Router WPN 824v2

And now I am not able to play MMORPGs on my Windows Desktop. Not only that but on my Mac Laptop I am unable to connect to Windows Messenger:Mac, Yahoo Game Rooms, use bit torrents (legal ones) and other sites.

I have tried disabling SDI? Port Triggering instead of Port Forwarding. And a few other things.

The manual and site doesn't provide the help I need. Anyone got ideas? Thanks!

On the mac ,and the router make unverisal plug n play is enabled if you hven't already give the mac a manual ip ,and map the ports by that address. Make sure the firmware is up to date on the router

Same goes for the window machine as well double check the control panel firewall and advanced section make sure those games are allowed.

This guide is alot of what you done however though it does provide a good list of what apps ,and what ports sometimes one site will have such and such port when you need another port.
