I have a MagicJack USB Phone Device. I have gone into Comodo and set every entry I can find for MagicJack to "Trusted Application". Yet when I connect the MagicJack I still get prompted by Comodo Defense Alert as to how to handle this. Even though I also have checked each time, "remember this answer".
Can someone please help? This is very annoying that it doesn't seem to retain these settings.
Thanks!

Are you able to find out which ports, and what type, this application needs?

Yes, I put them in, but that was when it wouldn't even work. But that turned out to be a bad device. When I connect the device to the USB it does an AUTORUN and I set all the various entries in Comodo for this device, (all the various apps that Comodo asks about), but yet it still asks each time.
I find that if you set comodo to installation mode instead it will not bother you the next time.

I 'm having some unusual issues as well with Magicjack and Comodo. There are about 15 or 16 things that Magicjack tries to change or modify. I've watched it go through a couple of times, using the Comodo warnings to see all of what it is doing. One of the mods was to "cfp.exe" which is one of Comodo's programs. I suppose the intent is to allow Comodo to fully load the MJ app without blocking necessary parts of the program, but I didn't allow it to change that and the Magicjack is still working.
I wish there were some tech document that explained all of the things that it needs to do to run on the computer. For something that says it "doesn't permanently load software on the computer", it is awful busy according to the Comodo firewall.
I hope I don't have to go thru this each time I boot. I've gone thru it 3 times on 3 boots now, but I figured out that I have to go into BIOS and change boot order to remove USB device (the computer wouldn't boot with the Magicjack plugged in).

I find on my system, if my MJ is plugged in when I boot up, it doesn't work. I have to plug it in while XP is up. Then allow MJ to install/open from the Comodo popup I get.
