I'm running SBC Yahoo DSL (PPPoE) through a Linksys routher (Modem to Ethernet, Ethernet to PC) on Windows Vista SP1, not sure what my advertised speed is supposed to be...

I've recently had issues with Cs:S, specifically after the SP1 update (thought I'm not sure there's any real correlation there), and have not yet tweaked anything on my new laptop...

This is my TCP Analyzer before the Spyware Removals/TCP Optimizer

I have not yet touched the TCP Optimizer, because I have no idea where to begin...any help would be appreciated. (note: I have turned off TCP/IP Auto-Tuning)...

If it helps, my speakeasy test running through Dallas, TX (I'm in KC, MO) is as follows:

Download Speed: 328 kbps (41 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 326 kbps (40.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

Thanks in advance!

Vista cannot be tweaked. It is auto-tuning.

Check to see if you have any updated firmware for the network adapter to suit Vista.

Also, do a tracert to www.yahoo.com to check signal quality.
