Hi guys I'm new to the fourms and I'm having trouble with my speeds when I download.... I was curious to know if someone could help me out with my speeds....

First off I have a cable modem via RoadRunner.
(also to let you know I am connected via Lynsys Wireless router but connected through ethernet)

Yesterday I just upgraded to the 15 MB/S

thanks trogers i tried using some of your tips in the other thread but stil having problems, currently i am still uploading at a higher rate than my downloads, im uploading at about 125kbs and downloading about 50-80 kbs...
if you could help me out some more that would be great thanks alot

Sounds like you have not port forward your router or firewall for torrents.

First set a static LAN IP address to your comp. Then port forward the router. See these links:

Just a thought; Until a real solution to your DL speed is reached - maybe throttling your UL (to maybe 50%) would help to boost your downloads?

i tried messin around with the upload rate and how many and everything else in utorrent so im not sure what else to do im gonna try to make a static ip but i do have the port forwarded so ill try to out thanks
