Worst Wireless Router

Dell Truemobile 2350.

My moms friend was having trouble with her wirelss..
So I reset the router..and tried to login.

Default Username/Password is supposed to be admin for both.
Couldn't get in.

Come to find out..
This particular router would not let you in if you connected to (its) Gateway IP Address.

It HAS to be
My.Router...



grrrr....WTF.

It turns out the Wireless NIC in her Laptop was not working properly.

You cannot setup a wifi router using a wireless cliebt! If you reset the router there's no security, thus if use a wifi laptop you would need to create a new unsecured connection in order to connect. And possible release and renew the ip address first. Always best to use a wired client to setup an ap.

yeah I had the Laptop Connected with a Cat5.

But my problem was the fact that.
It would not allow me to go its IP Address to set it up, it would not accept the default password.
It only worked at http://my.router
