Hmm... Almost 15 days without the gallery... Any insight as to when we'll be getting it back?

Please excuse the downtime. The Gallery software needs to be upgraded to a newer version because of some security risks with the old release.

However, I had to do some extensive hacking of the code to link it with the users in the vBulletin database, and I just haven't found the time required to redo this from scratch with a new version.

There was very limited traffic on the gallery site, and combined with the security issues, I haven't found a couple of days to dedicate to it. It needs to remain shut down for a few more days until we reevaluate/upgrade/test a new version/form of it.

Your efforts and time are greatly appreciated Philip.

Thanks for the gallery, looking forward to the new release!

There will be a user gallery integration in the next version of vBulletin, the final release is supposed to be out in less than a week.

I am planning on moving to the vB integrated gallery instead, as soon as it is out, should look something like that:

All old images from the gallery are available (for a limited time) here:
http://gallery.speedguide.net/albums/

The new user albums feature is accessible through the vBulletin User CP (http://forums.speedguide.net/usercp.php) and the "Quick Links" navigation bar. It allows for visitor comments, and has most of the features of the old gallery.

Please reupload any pictures you'd like to save from the old gallery.
