i just bought a new wifi card and i'm trying to set my desktop as a router for my psp.the wifi card is a ipTIME ZC-WL0101.
i found a guide about how to do it:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/expert/bowman_02april08.mspx
i did everything it's said there but it doesn't work.after i create the new connection, the desktop detects it, but when i try to connect to it it sais "waiting for connection" for about one minute then it disappear.
after that in the list, it appears that the computer connected to the AP, but in fact i get a big red X right near the Wireless network connection.
i also included a screen:http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/8003/networklistso7.png
i also tried to set the ip in network connection properties (http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/3043/iplistrt0.png) but nothing works.when i type the command "ipconfig /all" in cmd i get "Media disconnected" for the wifi adapter (http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/9757/ipconfiggy5.png).
am i doing something wrong? or it's a hardware failure?
should i go back to the shop an replace it?
thanks in advance.
