drop outs

Hi!
I have a problem with dropping out,when browsing the net i
sometimes get a message saying i am not connected,yet the icon says wireless connection is excellent then i have to reset the router before i can open any web pages.
I am using a d-link modem dsl-302g and a belkin 54g router. the problem can occur up to 3 times a day which is very frustrateing as any one had the same problem if so what is the solution?:

Some suggestions:

1) Upgrade the router firmware. You can get the latest router firmware from manufacturer website.

2) Log on to your router management page, see whether there is keep alive or similar option on WAN setting, and enable it. Then your router will keep Internet connection active from time to time.
