A lot of these web proxies are using FDC Servers, a
server colocation centre in Chicago, Illinois. I do see
a LOT of connections to my radio station, and my
web site, especially during the workdays in America.

A lot of people from work, are suring through the various
proxy sites, and a lot of them hosted at FDC servers, becuase
of thier flate-rate option. For 619 USD per month (including
all taxes), you an colocation your server there, and get
unmetered high speed connectivity for your server. I think
this is attracting a lot of the proxy operators. I have seen
connections from FDC server colocation facilities in Chicago
and New York. I also see a lot of connections coming from
colocation facilities in Ukraine, Russia, China, and Germany.
So there are a lot of people using servers, like yours, to
surf from work. Nearly all the traffic I get from the Chicago
and New York metro areas come from data centers belonging
to FDC servers in those cities. Among traffic coming through
colocation sites worldwide, a lot of it comes from FDC in
Chicago and New York, Inhoster in Odessa, Ukraine,
Hostmonster in Provo, Utah, Keymachine in Berlin,
Germany, and 163Data in Beijing, China. There is where
a lot of phpProxy and CGI proxy servers are being hosted.
And I saw a connection today from a new server farm in
Ensenada, Mexico.
