i just purchase my first cisco aironet 1300 to share internet about 700ft away i'm kind of new to it so any help is thankfull
i'm placing it on the roof my house is 11ft from ground to roof i'm planning on putting another 10ft pole on the roof to put it on would that reach my secondary home about 700ft away on my loptop there is quiet a few three in-between i just want to get at least 2MB because my internet service is just 2048K from the phone company
2)
is there any similar setting to set it up similar to a hotspot login for security i want to be able to just use a login username and password and Mac Address filtering
3)
is mounting it vertical or horizantol get a better signal i have 2 Cisco Aironet Air-BR1310G-A-K9 and the -R the one without the R has a built in Antenna
