VPN checkpint to PIX

I have an issue with a VPN and I'm not sure how to resolve it.

I have checkpoint running on a nokia platform, and I have a VPN going to
my PIX, external interface. When I do a site-to-site VPN between the
two, everything works fine, only I can't get to the external interface
of the PIX anymore for management, because it's trying to encrypt it,
although the external address isn't part of the tunnel.

If I exclude https I can get to it, but then that causes me other issues
elsewhere.

Does anyone have any ideas?
