First time poster.
I have had TDS Telecom DSL- 3.0MB for several years and recently- last 2 weeks, the internet stream on my main computer that is linked directly to the Actiotec DSL box is running very slowly- internet browsing, downloads, uploads, music streaming... you name it.
My laptop, which is wirelessly connected to the same box is running ~10X faster (1337 kbps down, 449 kbps up). I have cleaned the Registry and run Ad-Aware SE and Spybot periodically. I downloaded the TCP/IP Optimizer and optimized my settings- no change! Performed a Tracert www.yahoo.com and get rediculously slow speeds (laptop returns much faster numbers).
