hello guys a have a problems whith my modem motorola SB5150 its broke I bought another but has a registration issue is any software or hardware I can use to transferred the information to the new one .......thanks and advace

Did you call your ISP to tell them that you got a new modem? They will put the new MAC addy in and thats all that needs to be registered.

yah..call ISP..tell them you purchased a new modem...they will have you read them the MAC address over the phone.....once they have that..they will push down a configuration file to your modem (provision it)...power cycle the modem....and BAM..you're done, and online.

well for starters there is no such thing as a SB5150??? So which one did you have and which one did you get? Who is your ISP cause I do know Comcast sucks when it comes to pushing configs to 5100's and 5101's.

Can you explain that a little better? It doesnt make any sense.
You called them?
Did you tell them you got a new modem?
Did they ask you for the MAC number on the back of the new modem?
Were you renting the old one from them?
