need help

my laptop connects to router wich is connected to desktop via cable .Now everytime I turn the laptop off and then on ,I manually have to unplug the router and then back on again in order to connect to network .Any ideas ? Here are my settings

Are both PC's using wired connections connected to the LAN ports or the router? Are you using dynamic IP's given out by the router? When you say unplug the router do you mean the network cable or the power cable? What happens that prevents you from connecting, do you get an IP address from the router?
