Wireless sharing of internet connection with no wired PC

Hi all...

I'm tring to share the broadband connection between 2 PCs. I would like
to move the host pc to another room and connect to the internet
wirelessly.

I've set up the infrastructure wireless netork with the host pc
connected to the router via ethernet and another computer connected
wirelessly. I now want to move the host PC to another room and connect
that wirelessly too. Although I can see my network, it wont connect,
probablly because it is expecting a wired connection through ethernet.
Can this be done? I've read that it can but can't find any advice on
how.
