Just wondering if this is widespread as a way for ISP's to save on bandwidth.
I've just figured out that mine does. :mad:

Time to get your service servers to use port 80. I am waiting for ISPs to try blocking port 80.

Yeah I ask. They replied back to try ports 440 or something like that. I'm not at home right now when I got the mail.
It just irks me is all. They actually supplied a decient service to Supernews then dropped it at the first of the year. No indication they were going to do so.
Maybe it's time for a new ISP service. DLS maybe if I can get a business account.

It's the standard port used for newsgroup servers.

My ISP is blocking this port as well, and they told me it's due to abuses of the server. Too bad..
