What file transfer speed do you get when downloading a file from TaTa's website?

You need to understand the difference between broadband speed and file transfer speed.

Broadband speed is measured in kilobits per second (kbps) while file transfer speed is measured of kilobytes per second (KB/s).

1 KB/s = 8 kbps
55 KB/s = 440 kbps.

Your ISP is giving you a 512 kbps line. This is equal to a 64 KB/s line. You hope to get about 90% of this speed in tweaks.
