I made the switch to 802.11n 5GHz (channel bonded) but realized that the nature of the 5GHz frequency makes it extremely susceptible to signal degredation over short distances and minor obstacles. I'm currently using the Apple Airport Extreme Gigabit edition and was wondering if anyone knew of repeaters that Apple or other companies may be working on that will be able to enable me to take advantage of 802.11n mesh networking (WDS networking) or at least allow me to extend my range so I can take myself completely off of the 2.4GHz spectrum and move to the 5GHz spectrum?
