My uncle is looking for an app, preferably free but he will pay.

He needs a backup app. Something were he can plug in an external drive and run the wizard. not massive archiving music type backup. family pictures. a few video's. word docs junk like that. Ya know what im saying?

50$ and he can get a cheap 2.5laptop HDD, and a enclosure for it off newegg for USB external.

we have the external part taken care of. its software. i back all my junk up manually and use ghost for my installs. he just wants something super simple and automated. Going to check out synctoy mark :thumb:

I've been using Acronis True Image for about 5 years now to backup my OS on my laptops and server all without a problem. I also use Directory Sync twice a week to back up my digital pictures and important docs etc. etc. to (2) remote external drives. Both products provide great services over a home or office network.
