Will ship to lower 48 states via either UPS or USPS. Asking $150 US shipped OBO.

My wife got a new laptop and so we're selling her old one. It's a Dell Inspiron 2650 with the following specs:

P4 1.7GHz-M (Mobile chip)
512MB Ram (upgraded from 256MB)
60GB HDD (upgraded from 20GB)
16MB nVidia GF2 go
DVDROM
14" Screen (1024x768 res)

Comes with:
Battery in decent shape
Pictured Bag
A/C Adapter
Microsoft Windows XP SP2 cd key on the bottom of the unit

Missing:
Original packaging
Original software - Windows XP Home edition is installed and up to date on the unit. I've also installed Antivir for your convenience. Any Windows XP Home OEM edition cd will work for reinstallation if you need to in the future (key is provided and legitimate).

Problems:
There's a crack in the plastic on the left hinge. I've tried to glue this together without any luck. It does not affect the performance of the unit. Please see the pictures below.

It's obviously not the fastest machine but it's decent and is good enough for surfing the web and doing some word processing.

it does not have built in wireless but i think i have a usb wifi adapter laying around someplace, i'll try it on it and let you know. the battery probably lasts 1-1.5 hours. windows says it'll last two hours but i'm not sure how accurate that is. it was always used plugged in and this is its second battery (a little over a year old).

USB Wifi adapter didn't work, but an old PCMCIA one I had did. The USB ports DO work as I tried a thumb drive and had no problem using it (I think it's probably just that they don't put out the full 500MA of juice). Anyway, I can throw in the wifi adapter.

Is the hinge stable?

The hinge itself is but the plastic around it bends a little (on the inside of the screen). I imagine the metal part will hold fine. To be frank, I probably wouldn't use this a full-time laptop. I think it'd be fine as a desktop-replacement for fixed-position use. I understand your concern about the screen as well. The hinge itself is stable but I don't know that the plastic on the inside of the screen will hold with repeated use. The ideal thing would be to brace the inside and outside of the screen with something stiff so it wouldn't move.
