View Full Version : Best application
I'm looking for a simple application to cut out the occasional imperfections within a mp3 file. Like a hiss/pop at the end, etc.

I don't know of one. The only way I know of to fix a problem like that is to convert back to wav then edit the sound file and convert back to mp3. Not the best solution as your resulting file will have more artifacts.
Not saying there isn't an app that would work though.
You can use FlexiMusic Wave Editor (http://www.fleximusic.com/) for removing the imperfections in Mp3 file, it is probably the best one for a job.

Audacity.
you beat me to it :p
audacity is a good program though. i use it sometimes when i want to record cover songs on guitar, and there are many effects and changes you can make with it.
Audacity...nice one... FlexiMusic Wave Editor is looking cool and i feel its easy for me.

As I was saying, your still converting those MP3's to wavs to edit them.
