router configuration screen is messed

windows 2000 sp4

i tried to go back to the wrt54g official firmware and when i tried to access the setup page, its disfigured and i cant access anything on it; it is ruined. I can't configure my router configurations at all. i can hit 192.168.1.1 but thats it - its disfigured and most of my tabs and options are erased so there is no account management tab for me to redo the firmware.what should i do now. is their a way that i can get back to the firmware screen to do it again - because right now I cant. please help.

Did you mean that you have loaded a third party firmware with it before or youre just ordinarily getting back to it. The firmware of the router might be corrupted. You might need to reset the reset button at the back, or if its still the same, have the firmware upgraded. :) For further isolation if its your IE problem or if its really the router, try to access it with other PC and see if its the same result. :nod:
