Hey all, I'm currently deployed to Iraq, myself and some of the guys invested in Satillite as thats all we can get here, We use service from Bentley Walker. The modem we are useing is the Star Nova S2, I am running a package that includes 4Mbps down and 512Kbps up, I am fully aware that these speeds will never bee reached, but I am looking for tips and any help out there on how to make this run the bast with what we have. I am going to set up a network to support about 20 people, please provide me wiht ideas for switches routers, as the modem only provides 13 static IP's. the best cable and connectors to use, any programs out there on monitor Sat, Tx and Rx signal, also if any of you are privy to tweaking a system like this.
