We have a 100 meg circuit for our main site and we have 8 off sites that we have T1 circuits to provide a connection to the main site. I had a utilization report pulled on the 100 meg circuit and the most we have ever used is 4 meg. I am trying to find out if there is a way for us to route some bandwidth to another location, do away with the T1 circuits or down grade them to a cable modem circuit. The long short of it all is I want to try to utilize more of the 100 meg circuit and save cost if I can by turing off T1 lines. Is this possible. My network engineer thinks there is a new technology that will allow us to do this but he is not familiar with any details. I have to admit I am an IS administrator with no formal education in Information systems although I have successfully managed the systems in a different scope for some time. Any thoughts.
