Hi ,
I need some pointers regarding what to look into config files of n/w devices like router , switchs and espically n/w diagrams when loooking for avalibility and redundancy (no single point of failure)

Some of the things i can think of HSRP config in router/switches
failover commands in firewall config.
avalibilty of backup n/w device from n/w dig.

an i missing anything imp , what else i can look for ?

Well no single failure point means no single point in common, right? So basically two of everything. Not only that but each must have a different power path, and be connected into a different ISP.

You are on the right track though.
