Hi Folks,
This is my first post, so if i did any newby mistakes please for give me.

Back to the business now :)

I thought of the things that i would like to implement to my new home network. Though i have good knowledge of networking, data communication, servers etc, but obviously there are people out there that have way more knowledge then me.

So, here i am requesting all of you for your opinions and knowledge and input to help me with this new implementation. It looks good on the paper, but i dont know if it is possible to do everything that i want to do, because i have never incorporated all the things i want to do in this project at once in one box.

Here is the Diagram that explains what i would like to do:

Basically i would like to implement VPN server on 2003 server ENT box, along with application server. Run VMWare with Ubuntu on it for my site on the same box. I would also like to make server box, and xp box static ip and rest dynamic (Xbox, 2 laptops). that sort of stuff, more details in the diagram.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, please feel free to add or remove anything and give me some more ideas to make it better.

Things i would like to have (keep):
-VPN, -Application Server, -VMWare with Ubuntu for site

Thanks for reading!

another question:
In what order should i install/implement things so they wont interfere with other settings. for example, after installing 2003 server ENT what should i do next on it, set up vpn, or install VMWare and install ubuntu, or setup domain controller/active directory etc.....please guide me towards the right direction.

thankx
