netgear wg511t freezes laptop

hi

new here and was told this is the best place for help

i have dell inspiron 1100 with seagate harddrive

never had any problems freezing ro lagging until i added a netgear wg511t wireless card

tried everything ...if i take out the pc card and intsall old one no freezing but the old one does hold any connection at all

goes onlien and offline constantly


any ideas ?

I'd try a BIOS update on the laptop.

Also...properly uninstall the drivers for your old network adapter..including any 3rd party wireless management software...reboot..install new adapter.
