I see there is a problem with windows update if one has
run the repair option with XP.
Subsequently running update, some 81 security fixes are
rejected.

I had a case of that last week, after downloading the
stuff it said 'failed'
Anyone know the answer ?
Note: using other o/s's is not an option.

Two techniques are mentioned here. I haven't had cause to
try either.
