ok, i'm a nOob..so let's write that on the wall :P
the thing is i live in a school hostel, and i have quite good connection (i download some files from 500 to 2000 KB/s). It's cable and shared>they say 10mb (if you care :p).
i play some games in the internet (WolfET, savage, dota>with hamachi), and the ping is killing me..literally: from 100 (minimum) to 500, and i drop from dota in the first 5-10 mins.. is it normal, or can it be tuned somehow? I have made some homework and, if it helps:

So boys and girls, what should i do next? change some values, or insert here some more, or...pray god to lower my ping? I would be quite appreciated, if someone cares/advises me or smt.
thx for reading

You may be behind your College's main server and thus, TCP Analyzer may not be reading your settings correctly.
Try this NDT and post the results under the 'More Details' button:

Do a tracert to www.yahoo.com and post.
To do a tracert, click 'Start' and then 'Run'. Type "cmd" into the box and click 'ok'.
A DOS black screen will appear. Type after the C:\>
tracert www.yahoo.com
and press enter key
When test is completed, move mouse cursor to the DOS black screen, click right and choose 'select all'.
Move mouse cursor to the Quick Reply box of this forum, click right and 'paste'.

Seems you are double NAT - inside a LAN that is inside another LAN.
Try connecting your comp directly to the wall socket.

u said that u connected via hamachi..... u do that because u need a static ip obviously..... right click in the ip u use in the hamachi window 5.xxx.xxx.xxx, ping your connected adrress and u will see that your latency is > 60 - 70 ms from your first connect, then when u connected to your game server, u have already double your ping time because you go for a walk to hamachi server in Iceland and then to your game server (a big walk). try to by-pass hamachi... how? whenever u connected, go, lets say, to www.whatismyip.com to identify your true internet ip and play through. this trick will half your ping time but if u r behind a proxy, willnt work, u also need access to your routers nat to forward your ip to your static lan ip. i think big issues.... sorry:D
P.S. its necessary to be malware free first (spybot - ad-aware i recommend)
