I just installed a netgear wireless router (wpn824 wireless G with MIMO) and an adapter (WPN111) on two desktops in my home. They're 30 feet and 1 story apart. They replaced wireless B stuff I had.
When network security is off my 2nd computer finds the network and I have internet access.
When network security is on I lose almost all signal strength, cannot link to the network and, as a result, have no internet access.
Anyone have an explanation? I have less than what I had with the old technology. Makes no sense.
