I have been having trouble since around the time ntl switched to Vigin Media
now i get terrible lag in any of my online games, except for my DS/PSP games
but im guessing thats down to lower bandwidth needs..
its strangeim paying for 2 meg and according to speed test i get 1970 KB D/L
and i think i am supposed tog et 256KB upload which speedtest shows at 192KB and a realatively low ping (55ms)

the trouble is, i get terrible lag in all of my online games now ( bf2, counter strike source gunz etc.)
while still maintaining a low ping (25-30ms average)
although i do notice according to CSS net graph feature iget an avera choke of 0-3 but sometimes it spikes to 30 odd, but even when there isnt any choke i still lag, i have also tried resettinjg my config.cfg and such
in BF2 i get a lot of lag and disconnects
this is rather annoying as it has basically rendered my new gaming rig i built at the beginning of the year useless.
anyway
my router is a DLINK DI-524
although i have tried with and without the router
anyways, heres my speed test results
