Is this w/ your web browser or an FTP client or both?

Try and narrows the problem down. Use an FTP client to connect to Happypuppy's and others FTP to check if you can download. If you can download with an FTP client, then you know the problem is with your Web browser. If you can't download with the FTP client then you might have a more serious issue. Also, try a different browser to further narrow it down.

I use Leech FTP myself, its one of the best around and its free.

Go to MS update and grab the IE web Accessories for FTP.

First try simplest. Start > Settings > CONTROL PANEL > INTERNET OPTIONS > SECURITY > then make sure 'allow file downloads' box is ENABLED [box checked]. Set security level to Medium.

Have seen this issue before with 98SE not too long ago. Don't remember which topic it was under, tho.

Probably in Software Forum. Read thru past postings. Is in there somewhere.

Is most likely some dumb little setting.
