Bassically this is gonna be one messed up network I wanna know if its possible to use a laptops wireless internet connection, jam it down a router and spit it out at the other end for another computer wired to the router.

You can all laugh but a guy can dream.:wth:

Windows built in ICS can do that...plug the laptops LAN connection into a hub or a switch..plug other PC into that...bingo.

Yes you can, you just Bridge the connections. You do not turn on sharing. I have a laptop with wireless, I connect my Ethernet to the LAN not wan to my wireless router and make sure you have them to automatically get IP ad. Now I have 3 ports for wired such as Vonage and I am rebroadcast the wireless internet and connect to it with no Problem. I have done this on xp and Vista.

One minor detail I left out, set your wireless encyption first and the turn of DHCP. At first you may get a error message say conflicting ip ad. but that will go away and You have wireless and wired.
