my pictures folder

when i go into my pictures folder i cannot see any thumbnails of the pictures except for 1(its a bitmap).all the others only show an icon.
anybody know why?

What OS? And did you select thumbnail view from the View menu uptop?

i did select the thumbnail view.
only bitmap show
it was working fine a couple of days ago

I'm not positive, but I think that the Windows thumbnail viewer can only decode and display certain types of image files.

I have seen .gif, .art, .bmp, and .png image files displayed in the thumbnail viewer on win98se.

it huave tried changing the program that opens it from ms photo editor to image preview still only one shows.it was working fine a few days ago.

If you go to view to folder opions tha file type u can add new typs of files that wndows can read dont know if this help but maybe?

Hey I have a ? i have win98 and it dont have the view thumblenil thing does any on know if there is a up grade or some thing that i can download to get this. ti whould make looking at my porn much easier....:D

To turn on Web content in all folders:

1. In My Computer, click the View menu, and then click Folder Options.


2. Click the General tab, and then click Web style.

Tips:

You can also change this setting by clicking the Start menu, pointing to Settings, and then clicking Folders & Icons.

If you still do not see your customized folder background, make sure as Web Page is selected on the View menu.


This applies to Win98 and will enable the pornography preview function. :D
