How can I run 2 or more instances of AOL instant messenger at the same time ????

Hey guys, i was wodering if anyone knows how it may be possible to run 2 or more instances of aol instant messenger on the same computer at the same time, kinda like you can with a mirc client?

You would have to install it twice in 2 different directories, but yeah, you can do it.

Doesn't one instance of the thing keep you busy enough? Just curious, why you'd want to run two at a time? Are we playing with someones head? :D

hey, the double installation thing doesn't work, i just tried it.

No, im not messing with anyones head, just that i have so many people i talk to and keep up with that i have them spread between 2 names, so it'd be easier to just have 2 running at once

Send a feed back and suggestion to the people at AOL and see what they'll say or do about it! Worth a try anyway. 1 of these things running is too much for me sometimes. I can just picture 2 running at the same time. I'd be put in a rubber room! :D

i have a program that lets you run more than 1 , up to 4 aim programs running at one time, its called Aim Clone, its in my site i just uploaded it, its a small file, about 13.4 kilobytes, its in the filez section, don't forget to agree to the terms in order to download:
