Currently, I have am dual booting Win2k and Win 98. Do most games work on Win2k? My video card is a tnt2, and I mainly play counter-strike, but also unreal tournament and Quake 3. Also, I have a startup disk to install win98, would this work for installing 2k? If not, does anyone have files from a 2k startup disk that they could upload somewhere for me or email me (freckmoto@hotmail.com)? Thanks a lot,

A 2k starup disk is not need to install 2k, just like a 98 startup disk isn't needed to install 98. You just need at start up disk that will get you to dos. Doesn't matter if it is the one that came w/2k, or one you created w/98, or one you created by yourself from scratch. You just need to be able to access your CD-Rom under dos so you can the setup off the CD.
If your motherboard supports booting off of CDs, then you don't need a startup disk at all b/c you can boot off of the 2k CD. You can also boot off of a 98se or ME CD.

Sell it or throw it away, I will go to my comp shop on monday and swap it into ASUS Intel p3 mobo and CPU !!!
You can make the install boot disks from the Win2000 CD- use a W98 Machine, and go to the BOOTDISK folder, and select the MAKEBOOT.EXE file. You will need 4 floppies. This will create the disks for you.
