Outlook Express importing WAB problem

Ok, I formatted harddrive, reinstalled everything, blah blah. Now, I saved my address book thru Outlook Express, as WAB file. Burned it onto CD, tried it before formatting, it worked. Now, it wont let me import after formatting! It says "An error has occured during the process. The import proccess could not be completed."

It does this every time, no matter what I do. Any ideas?

upgrade OE and then import. All will be peachy.

Try this:
Copy the WAB from the cd to the hd. Open the copied WAB. Export entries from it as a .csv file. Then import that csv to your OE.
note: you may need to use the View menu in the WAB to see the entries.

also, make sure the properties for the burned wab are set correctly. It may ne a "read only".b Or the burned copy is corrupted.

Cool! I take it to mean that all works well now. Sometimes the simplist of things are the cause and they result in the most aggravation! We get so used to "shi*, now what's wrong? It must be complex!"
