Hi Humbolt - I do more or less what Charlie suggests, but I also put a shortcut to NSNOTIFY.EXE in my STARTUP folder. This way, it runs on startup and remains in the SYSTRAY.

Hey there, does anyone know if you can have Netscape Communicator automatically check for new messages when it opens? Outlook has that feature and it seems like a no brainer. Outlook doen't like my mail server, so I use Communicator, but having to check it manually seems like a overlook on some programmer's part. Is it just me missing the obvious, can anyone tell me how to enable auto-check? Thank You

Hey Humboldt,

Go up to Edit ...Preferences......click ..........Go down to Identity........Mail Servers.........Highlite your Default account........click Edit ........change from 10 mins. to what ever.......Also check the box to Automatically Download any New Messages
