still trying to fix my win95 boot up. in order to get windows up i was going to try putting in anoter hd and load windows and my hardware drivers and then make a copy of the original configuration in the system profiles then copy it and then insert it into the orginal drive. only prob i have with that so far is that i have no idea where it's saved, i did a find using "original configuration" and it didn't show up the file i needed. i know it would be easier to just reload windows on the original drive but i would prefer to fix the problem, rloading windows doesn't teach me anything. (other than to quit bombing windows) thanks
Now would be a good time to just back your stuff, format, and upgrade to WinME or Win2k. Both are so much more stable than 9x.

no real help for u but 95c is very stable http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif
also(if u or anyone reading this is interested) there is a thingy called LiteStep at www.litestep.com (http://www.litestep.com) which changes ur shell in system.ini from explorer.exe to litestep.exe.
litestep is smaller adn loads up a bit faster and is totally customizable and much more stable. but its a pain in the A$$ at first!!
Sorry i couldnt help.
