View Full Version : Microsoft Office Start-Up-Won't go away!
I uncheck this program in msconfig/reboot/It's baaaack!
At one time someone told me how to get rid of it and I have forgotten. It is a resource hog-Do I even need it to use office?
Help if you can.

goto teh stupid bar and right click on a blank part of it, and u'll see a check next to "load at start up" click it and ur good http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif i hate that bar, love office though

I went to start/setting's/Taskbar&StartMenu/StartMenu Programs/Advanced/Programs/StartUp
And.........
Finally, a shortcut for Office!!
Delete-Yea!
I am sure there was an easier way.

You need to go to start/programs/start up and delete what you dont want to have startup at boot. You will be all set after that., I had the same problem too.

the only thing that line in msconfig is for is outlook,outlook is the only app that won't work right.you can use the rest of office without it running auto at startup.
