moving to Henderson / Las Vegas area, help

Hello, I live in California, here we are serviced for cable modems by Comcast. I am pretty used to the 8 to 30 Mbit/sec that I get out of the modem, maybe 800k upstream only, but it works for me. I also have had the same ip for 2 years now. They never bothered me about torrents or anything either.

In the Henderson area, I can not seem to see if even Comcast supports that area, and if not, who do you recommend? I can not live without at least 8Mbit down, and 768k or better up, suggestions?

Anything you all can tell me about internet access in that area in general, sure would be helpful.

Yeah, I saw that a while ago, I think it is just spam, where they swap out every city and state name there is. Comcast seems to be nowhere to be found in Nevada.
