As usually, i could download file with rate 20 kB/s, then i got slower (8 kB/s) since i installed tune up utilities 2006.

Not a traceroute. A tracert.

To do a tracert, click 'Start' and then 'Run'. Type "cmd" into the box and click 'ok'.

A DOS black screen will appear. Type after the C:\>

tracert www.yahoo.com

and press enter key

When test is completed, move mouse cusor to the DOS black screen, click right and choose 'select all'.

Move mouse cursor to the Quick Reply box of this forum, click right and 'paste'.

What kind of router and modem are you using?

Ping times at hop 1 show those of a router, but the IP address does not.

Ping times at hop 2 are very high.

Download, update and scan and remove all spyware/malware with

SpyBot
Lavasoft Ad-Aware
a-squared Free 2.1 - this ia available at: http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/download/
