wireless management

I have wireless network connected in two of my places, Now i have a question which is really bothering me for a long period, i thought good idea would be post in a forum, i found this by searching google, i just want to know How many wireless devices can connect to an 802.11b? awaiting for expert answer in wireless networking

In my studies I have looked for this answer as well but with little luck. But I will part some information onto you to help some.

-IEEE 802.11B/G both operate on 2.4GHz and has (If i remember correctly) 16 channels
-Bluetooth, Wireless phones on the same frequency, and microwaves can cause interference.
-As with basic networks, the more devices using the same line, the high the risk gets for collisions of data and poor conectivity with the chance of data lose.

The general rule a thumb I use is not to have more then four devices running off the same wireless just so I don't have problems but there really is no true limit.
