Accessing Cable Modem Admin Page

I've read that most cable modems have a web based admin page. I'd like to access mine. My Cable Modem (DCM-201) is connected to my DI-624 router.

Can I http into the cable modem from behind the router, or must I directly connect to it via a USB or ethernet cable?

Do a tracert to www.yahoo.com and the IP address of your DCM-201 would be at hop 2.

Try using the standard "admin/admin" or "admin/password".

Thanks Trogers. Hop 2 times out on a tracert and hop 3 is my ISP's DHCP address. The tracert never finishes, I get 30 Request Timed outs and it stops.
