I think I know why my video card is acting up. I recently uninstalled Omega drivers for my system a couple of weeks back using the start menu, Radeon Omega, Uninstall. When I was supposed to use the control panel... it's still in my control panel, with no size.. and when I click uninstall it gives me this pop up:

How do I manually remove this? I've tried re-installing the same version but all it does is create an extra copy and leaves this one.

I'm not going to format, so any suggestions besides that I'd appreciate. Thank you.

Driver cleaner (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Secure-cleaning/Driver-Cleaner.shtml)?

To remove the control panel applet go to
%Windows%/System32/
and locate .CPL files.
Delete the one you don't want.

I used TweakXP to remove it from the list. Hopefully it doesn't have anything conflicting with my new drivers. I downloaded driver-cleaner.. but it says to reboot to safe mode.. and for some reason, my PC wont do that. I press F8 and all I see are my HD and Disk Drives.. no safe mode option...

but that just gets rid of the actuall icon and access to that part for the control panel. it wont remove the entry in the add/removes programs, no?

you can remove any add-remove programs entry via the registry:
hklm/software/microsoft/windows/current version/uninstall
