I strongly suspect that someone is attacking my computer over the network , since my computer responds very slowly when connected to internet or LAN. I need to find out the ip from which the traffic is coming and what the traffic is composed of .How can I accomplish this ?

I assume you have a router, check your router logs.

Another possible solution is Peerguardian. It blocks bad IPs and shows all the IPs going in and out. Free and helpful.
