Most likely cause is a bad stick of RAM or maybe your video card/video card drivers. Download Memtest and test your memory and update your video card drivers.
:)
Thank you. I replaced my video card from 126 to 256 and test drive it seem working fine. Thank you again.:thumb:
I jumped too fast. The problem still happenning. I am going to test the RAM..then will post all result. Thanks again

Sounds like Power supply going bad... but curious if it shuts off during anything else besides watching a video clip?
it only happen when I watch video. Is there anyway to test it for diff way than the watching video? please teach me. Thank you
Is there anyway to test my power supply. My power suppy is 500w and my system is 4 HD, 2 DVD drives, water pump, 6 small fans and 3 120mm for the rad. So 500 W is it good for it? Thank you.
PS: After I c/o the Video card the movie seem to run longer but still fail. I do not know what is going on with this system anymore.

its not so much as having 500watts but the quality of the PS could be just plain cheap. Also with running so much stuff as you say yeah I think its power issues. Get a better quality power supply from a friend or something and test it.
is your computer overclocked ?

is your computer overclocked ?Must be. He's running H2O. But then... what do I know. :) If he is running H2O, I'll bet that draws a lot of Volts/amps/wats-ever.
Not yet, I am not OC but will be after take care the shutdown problem. My PS is ASpire ATX - AS500W 12v. How do I know which PS is good? THX:confused:
I ran the RAM test through the night till 10AM...it is run good.

1. Replace the power supply with a different one.
2. Remove/unplug as many power devices you can and see how the system works. If it works better, you might have an underpowered supply. If it works the same, it might be a bad power supply.
I have three power supplies lying around I can play with. Hopefully you do too.
I don't have any extra PS around me. I try to disconect 2 HD, 4 small exausht fans and the problem is the same. I guess I will go to local store to buy the new PS...at least 800w and try out to see what will happen. And here is the BIG IF...the proplem still the same...What can I do? This problem is only happen when I play the movie by my computer. thank you for all your help. :thumb:

Please help me. Install the new Thermaltake 850W PS and start use the nero to watch movie clip and my computer shutdown again. it gave me this reported
" Follow these steps to solve the problem with a video device driver
You received this message because a device driver installed on your computer caused the Windows operating system to stop unexpectedly. This type of error is referred to as a "stop error." A stop error requires you to restart your computer.
Solution
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are two options you can use to try to fix the problem. If the first option doesn't work, then try the second.
Option 1: Install the most current device driver for your video card
Go to the Microsoft Update website to see if there are any updated drivers for your video card. If there are any drivers listed, you should install them.
If there are no updated drivers listed at Microsoft Update, and you know the manufacturer of the video card, contact the card manufacturer's product support service for assistance.
If there are no updated drivers at Microsoft Update, you don't know the name of the manufacturer of the video card, and you need more help diagnosing and resolving this problem, contact your computer manufacturer's product support service.
Option 2: Manually decrease Hardware Acceleration for your video adapter
This procedure prevents the display device driver from programming the hardware incorrectly, but you might lose some display functionality and performance. Although you can increase the hardware acceleration settings higher than None to regain functionality and performance, these settings increase the chance that the issue will occur again. For maximum stability, leave hardware acceleration turned off.
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.
Click the Settings tab, and then click Advanced.
Click the Troubleshoot tab, move the Hardware Acceleration slider to None, and then clear the Enable Write Combining check box.
Click OK, and then click OK. Note: This procedure prevents the display driver from programming the hardware incorrectly, but you may lose some display functionality and performance. "
My video card is 128 MB. Please help. Thank you
Should I replace the Video card? and if yes please advice. Thanks

Installed the new Thermaltake 850W PSThat PS will do fine in the same rig, or new rig, for years and years. Money well spent! Nothing wrong with having and extra lying around in the event your primary PS starts smoking.
I need to buy you guys beers:D ...alot of beers:thumb: :rockin:
