MY DOCUMENTS!!!! DISAPEAR BEACUSE OF IE V6

GUYS I NEED HELP THE FOLDER "MY DOCUMENTS" DISSAPEAR FROM MY DESKTOP BECAUSE I UNINSTALL INTERNETEXPLORER 6 HOW CAN I PUT IT BACK WHERE IT WAS SO WHEN I DOWNLOAD STUFF OFF THE INTERNET I CAN SAVE IT IN MY DOCUMENTS **** THIS SUCKS I DONT RECOMEND UNINSTALLING IE 6 BECAUSE ITS GONNA MESS YOUR COMPUTER TO MAKE EVERYTHING BACK TO NORMAL I HAD TO DOWNLOAD INTERNET EPLORER V6 AGAIN SO IM STUCK WITH IT PLEASE HELP ME SOME ONE I FOUND THE FOLDER "MY DOCUMENT" OM MY HARDDRIVE AND I DID SEND TO MY DESKTOP IT WENT THERE AND AFTER THAT I ERASED THE ONE IN THE HARDDRIVE WHEN I DOUBLE CLICK ON THE ONE IN THE DESKTOP IT SAID FOLDER HAS BEEN REMOVED ... :(

You probaly created a shortcut to My Documents. So when you deleted it, the shortcut pointed to nowhere.

Ya know, you don't HAVE to save stuff you download to My Documents. ;)

He right just make a shortcut from the C drive document folder to your desktop. This will work fine. Plus as of now once you download Internet 6.0 your stuck with it, It explain this in it's readme file. Thier is no uninstall for it yet. GoodLuck. Your only other option would be to reformat and reinstall your os. ;)

what your documents are located in C:\Documents and Settings\(User name)\My Documents

or in 9x

C:\WINDOWS\PROFILES\(your user name)\My Documents

( i might have the 9x one wrong, if i am someone please correct me)

go open a folder (not internet explorer), go to tools, then to folder options, go to view, and check ,show my documents in desktop, this may not be the answer you are looking for though
