Network Problems

Hi guys, I have a home network set up with a Netopia 3347NWG-006 router. I currently have 5 computers set up on the wire (4 by ethernet, 1 wireless). All computers are set up on the same workgroup and have the options to share with the other computers. However, none of us can see each other. I previously had the network set up with a hub and switched to a router, so maybe I'm wrong in thinking this is possible.

Is it even possible to be able to share printers and files through the router? And if it is, how am I able to do it with this one? Thanks in advance guys.

Yes it is possible to do what you want.

My first thing to check would be firewalls. Windows XP comes with a built in firewall which will block file and printer sharing by default. Run the network setup wizard on each PC and choose to allow file and printer sharing.

I've actually done both, neither has fixed the problem
