Hi,

Have you networked both comp's, if not use the network connection wizard on both comp,s (Window's treats more than one comp as a network)

Compare your connections between the PC's via the "status" page. Do both have the same gateway? Also check IP and subnet mask, are they on the same network (192.168.0.x 255.255.255.0)? Is your laptop receiving DNS servers via your router? Also check the laptop. Do you have CAT5 connections on laptop, if so plug into network and see if same problem exists. Check the wireless network you are attempting to access, is it yours or the neighbors? Settings within the router, if not at default, may also be preventing access. Check IP to MAC address settings, and security settings. You may to put your wireless cards MAC address in the router in order to let it access it.
